Programmes, TOTeM19, TOTeM20
The general objectives of Topic Oriented Technical Meetings - TOTeMs -
and Programmes are to:
-
To review the state-of-the art with respect to the technical topics chosen through a series of invited lectures from experts working in the field;
-
To review work of IFRF members usually through poster presentations;
-
From these reviews and a thorough discussion, to determine the short, medium and long term technical objectives of the IFRF with respect to the topic;
-
To note the restrictions imposed for example by legislation;
-
The determine the requirements for future research and other treatment
information;
-
To draw conclusions and to publish these findings to the Members of the
IFRF development.
The programmes include three parts. In the morning session, invited presentations will be given by experts working in the field. The afternoon
there will be a poster session, followed by the discussion session (Forum) intended to be an interactive discussion leading to a definition of new R&D requirements.
Topic Oriented Technical Meetings are open to representatives of all IFRF Member Organisations.
