My name is Marta Pérez Julián and I’m a Chemistry graduated at the University of Barcelona on July 2001, with a thesis concerning to the study he migration of plasticizers from blood bags and their possible accumulation in blood components.

After my degree (download CV by clicking on the PDF icon) I was very interested to expand my knowledge in the research, especially in the environmental research, that's why I decided to apply to the International Flame Research Foundation in Italy, also because combustion was a completely new subject for me.

I started my training period in Enel Produzione Ricerca (Pisa, Italy) on 6th September 2001 and I worked for six months as a researcher.

I focused my activity in the study of thermal devolatilization of chlorine from waste solid fuels with special attention to the formation of POPs during the pyrolysis process.

The EuroFlam experience helped me to increase my capacity to work in a team. I have to say that my EuroFlam experience was excellent, enriching not only my technical knowledge, but my cultural knowledge too. I had the opportunity of receiving classes of Italian language during this period.

I have currently finished my stage and actively seeking employment. I would like to work not only in Spain, but also in other European Countries, especially in Italy in environmental fields.
