You should query the database using these classifications. This will provide you with a list of book titles and authors. Click on the title of the book of your choice and you will see the book profile with a link through to the potential source from where you may acquire (or borrow) the book. Click in the author to view all books by that author.
Our mission is to become a Centre of Excellence for information on combustion literature, and where possible, to indicate where copies of books may be acquired.
Initially we have set up an online database that presently contains a sample of books that are used by combustion engineers and scientists, and would also be of use to students of combustion. We plan to expand this list gradually and to classify the books so that the database may be more easily queried. We are starting with English Language books but we can envisage extending the language base.
Initially we shall rely on book data proposed to us through the IFRF NET Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee STAG. This will be done under the guidance of our Technical Advisor:
Dr John Smart.
We have also made arrangements with Amazon ands Barnes & Noble so those books that are in print may be purchased using their online stores. In other cases the Books may only be acquired through the IFRF.
